Blackpool Exhibition

This exhibition sought to capture the magic, glamour and historical context of two of Blackpool’s most remarkable buildings, The Winter Gardens and Blackpool Tower // Our design solution used a contemporary take on the ‘playbill’ idiom for the exhibition brand used on panels and labels.

RSPB

Wildlife Hide Exhibition

A permanent exhibit for the RSPB on their Rainham Marsh reserve. The 3D section of the exhibition displays the various artefacts that have been found on the reserve: objects as diverse as bottles, bullets and bogwood in a display concieved as a set of interlocking boxes // On the other side of the room, the flat display features images and facts about the flora and fauna. Photographs and graphics were printed by an inkjet process directly onto birch-faced ply and a clever piece of design seams the sections of the displays almost invisibly together.

Wellcome Trust

Imaging Awards Exhibition Visualisation

The brief: to exhibit the Wellcome Trust imaging awards within an existing, and somewhat limited space measuring 9 x 3.6m // Our solution envisaged the insertion of a prefabricated ‘light box’ measuring 8.4 x 3 x 3m into the room, whilst maintaining access to offices beyond // The modularity of the concept with services between new and existing structures, allows complete flexibility of use, both for the proposed exhibition and in future use as a small digital cinema.

William Morris Eyewear

SILMO Expo Stand

The William Morris LONDON stand for SILMO in Paris even included a genuine London black cab, bought for the event and branded before being driven to the site // Sixties-styled wallpaper, light fittings and furniture were sourced to accompany custom built walls and graphic panels.

RSPB

Marshland Discovery Zone

After building the new Marshland Discovery Zone at Rainham Marshes, the RSPB were looking to branch out with a bold new communication style, working with existing cartoon characters aimed at kids // Given an interesting (yet very complex) visual story about the history of the marshes, chacha was tasked with creating a series of display panels to engage and educate kids of all ages visiting the reserve // Colourful, vibrant information graphics were printed directly onto plywood boards // Response to the permanent display has been immense.

Twickenham Museum

Water Gardens Restoration

The rediscovered water gardens in Bushy Park are being restored with Lottery funding // Chacha was asked to design and produce an exhibition conveying the history of the park, and plans for restoration, in the Twickenham Museum.
